Oh, the places we’ll go.

Welcome to the best classroom of all—the Big Apple. Our modern twist on the traditional field trip means kids get to experience the city in a safe, inspired way. See some of our Signature Adventures below and get ready to explore. Don’t see the site your child is begging to visit? Tell us and we’ll take them there.

Signature Adventures

Starlight, Starbright, Dino-Mite!

Travel back in time to the prehistoric wonders of the dinosaurs and journey to far away galaxies as we explore the Museum of Natural History and the Hayden Planetarium. Learn about animals and habitats, cultures, and customs as we take your child on an educational experience that will be sure to provoke thought. After, we will lunch and play in Central Park while reflecting on our travels using activities designed to stimulate curiosity, creativity, and language.

Lions & Tigers & Bears, OH MY!!

Take a thrilling above ground subway trip into the far reaches of Africa as we growl with the tigers and play like the monkeys. We’ll eat, play, and ride the rides, spending an entire afternoon exploring the fascinating animal kingdom while recording data in our Animal Journals.

High Art

Looking both high and low, we visit the nexus of urban art around New York City’s High Line. Start off the adventure with a Chelsea gallery crawl where we explore painting, collage, and sculpture from a kid’s perspective. Finish up with a stroll and sketch up above the city’s streets along the High Line, a park built atop an elevated West Side railroad.

Painting with Chopsticks

This downtown walkabout introduces children to the Bowery’s New Museum with its myriad floors of contemporary art and cutting edge exhibits. Kids finish up the visit with a sketching session before heading to a slice of the Far East right in their own backyard: Chinatown. After a tour to some of the most interesting spots in the neighborhood, a dumpling lunch rounds off this day of new experiences and tastes.

The MT-yAy! Explorers

Learn about the workings of one of the world’s largest and most complex public transportation systems. We’ll take out our treasure maps and plan our course for a New York City adventure. We’ll shoot through the subway up to the Roosevelt Island Tram and soar over the East River to lunch and play in the playground on the other side. When we return, the “wheels on the bus” will return us to Central Park where the children will reflect through games and activities.
