Kirstin received a BA in Dance as well as a secondary BA in Communication Studies from James Madison University. Although completing with a General Communication Concentration, she focused heavily on Intercultural Communication and Ethnographic Communication Studies, developing an interest in the way that these aspects impact perspectives of all ages. Throughout her college career she had the opportunity to study at Trinity Laban Center in London, work with Pat Graney and Velocity Dance Center in Seattle, and intern with Vanessa Long Dance Company. Finding a passion for the curiosity and energy that kids bring to a space, she first began teaching dance and ski instructing in her teens. She continued teaching post-college and immersed herself in the business aspect of children’s enrichment as a Business Development Coordinator for FrameWorks Dance Studio, located in New Jersey. Through her experience and educational background, she has had the opportunity to help children with crucial verbal and movement skills. She recently expanded her teaching experience and completed a 92-hour children’s yoga certification as a Go Grounded Yoga Kids Instructor.
